| General Rules |
1. General Posting Rules:
1.1 No "Flaming": Please do not post any messages that harrass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member.
1.2 No "Trolling": Please do not post any topic that disrupts the peace and harmony of this board. Don't create meaningless threads with the sole purpose of starting a dispute. This includes messages in profiles and signatures.
1.3 No senseless "Bumping": Please do not bump your request/help searching or other threads several times a day. Remember there are people who don't browse this board every hour. So do not bump a thread within 24h or too much even after 24 hours.
1.4 No "Offensive" Posts, Links or Images: Please do not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, racist, sexist, discriminatory, or otherwise violative of any local or international laws. This includes links in your signature, profile, bookmarks as well as posted images, photos and avatars. Staff will ultimately decide if something is appropriate or not. these rules are here for our protection/enjoyment. enforcement of these rules WILL be carried out. the forum is ment to be a fun and interesting place, not just full of posts saying.. "i hate so-so" etc, etc. it isnt going to encourage new members. its a waste of time for the mods and admin to be deleting a handfull of post every day!
the following is the action that will be taken by admin concerning personal attacks on the forum
1. the thread will be closed
2. you will be sent a pm with a warning
3. if it happens again you will recieve a 2 day ban
4. and if you persist you will be banned completely until you appologise
2. Copyrighted Materials:
2.1 No "spreading of copyrighted Material": Please do not upload, attach or post anything that is copyright or licensed without prior consent of the owner. If we are contacted by someone saying you have broke this rule, there must be consequences
3. Signature Rules:
3.1 Size Limits: All signatures should not exceed the following size limits:
Just Text: 8 lines max
Just Image: 2 images but not exceeding 400 pixels wide, 100 pixels tall for each image
Text and Image: 4 lines and one image (in a new line) up to 400 pixels wide, 100 pixels tall (PLEASE NOTE: Empty lines are counted as well!!)
3.2 Content restrictions You may have a link to your own website or services, but there must be no promotional language. Dynamic scripts linked in signatures that attempt to create cookies in another person's browser are not allowed for security reasons and will be removed.
ALL SIGNATES WILL BE LOOKED AT BY ADMIN AND IF DEEMED INAPPROPRIATE, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO CHANGE THEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN ADMIN, CHANGING YOUR SIGNATURE FOR YOU AND FOR PERSISTANT OFFENDERS, THE SIGNATURE SYSTEM WILL BE REMOVED THERE ARE SOME MEMBERS OF S.W.N WHO HAVE LARGER SIGNATURES, WITH PERMISSION. IF YOU WOULD LIKE A LARGER SIGNATURE PLEASE CONTACT ONE OF THE ADMIN TEAM!
